Allegiant Announces End Of Service From Hagerstown

(HAGERSTOWN, MD — June 4, 2010) Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced it will end its scheduled service from Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR). The carrier’s last day of service to Orlando-Sanford Regional Airport will be July 19. Customers with reservations July 23 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for full refund.

“Unfortunately, due to lack of market demand, we will end our service between Hagerstown and Orlando-Sanford,” Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant president, said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.”

Allegiant Air began service from Hagerstown Regional Airport to Orlando-Sanford Regional Airport Nov. 14, 2008.
