Tour Could Give Wings to Local Aviation School

Helicopter Contract Will Bring Jobs to Washington Co.

An aerospace company is adding employees in Washington County because of a $17.35 million U.S. Navy contract. The contract calls for AgustaWestland North America, which has an 88,000-square-foot maintenance repair and overhaul facility at Hagerstown Regional Airport, to refurbish three Egyptian helicopters.

Air Methods Maryland to Host Media Open House at Hagerstown Regional Airport

Air Methods Maryland, an air medical transport company, will begin operating a medical helicopter from Hagerstown Regional Airport Center.
